March forth! Into the light!

We had a good turnout last week, thanks to cameos by several MSC old-schoolers. Hans, Kevin and Jason Broersma all appeared at the club, along with Lou and Lilla, who are back from a US tournament swing.

Congratulations Dave and Mike, who both won their three games and are awarded with glory and significant rating gains.

Since Mike still has played fewer than 50 career games at the MSC, he gets the newcomer multiplier and sees his rating launch 56 points.

Dave, on the other hand, is a veteran of the club who sees his rating rise 33 points. In the Club Championship standings, his triple victory allows him to take first in the Division B race. Nice work, Dave! As we approach the halfway point of the season, his top contender, rival, and the person who most wants to see him fail, is none other than his wife, Shauna. Oh and she also would like to pass him in the Scrabble club standings.
