Compliments to our triple winners:  Mark H., Vijay and Jim.

Mark H. jumps a few spots in the ratings, with 29 more points.  Don’t forget to consider playing in Mark’s upcoming tournament, on Saturday May 22, in Toronto.  Some of the proceeds will support Mark’s hockey team in Germany this summer. 

The ever humble Vijay boasts the greatest rating gain, pushing ahead 33.  The warmth of spring brought our Vijay back to the club, after a spotty attendance record over the winter.    Hmmm…makes me think of a bear – mighty in Scrabble strength, but he likes to hibernate when the weather is frosty. 

And here we go again with Jim.  Perfect Thursday night #8, a 73% winning percentage and just one point shy of an illustrious 2000 club rating….yawn, yawn, yawn.  Enough said about the leader of the pack. 

Kaveri and Vimalan made an appearance, and Kaveri enjoyed a 24 point rise in rating and a new high game of 464.    Ade and Bernadette also found their way back to the club, nice to see you.   Joseph and Tony joined us from the Toronto club, but left with ratings in the red.  Hopefully they’ll be back to rectify that. 

Club Championship B division:  The husband-wife team of Dave and Shauna continue to dominate this chart.  Shauna made up some ground, 24 points to be exact, creating but a 9 point difference between first and second.  

Club Championship A division:  Not much to report.   There’s a race for second between Vijay, Craig and Jason.
