Well done, Craig, Jason and Brenda! The three of you won all three of your games on Thursday. That’s like getting to the final round of Survivor: Suburbia, except fragrant and without money.

They each had a perfect record made possible by racks of the perfect7 tiles.
It was Brenda’s FIRST 3-win night of the season and it was well-deserved, and she gets 25 rating points for it.
As for Craig, that was his SIXTH 3-win night, getting closer to Jim for the club lead in that category.
And for Jason, it was his third 3-win night… which is neither here nor there, so hardly worth mentioning.

I was among those who enjoyed a triple night on Thursday as well. Except, by “enjoyed” I mean “suffered” and by “triple” I mean “times three times zero”. My three losses included one at the hands of Chuk. Still new to the MSC, Chucc’s catching others by surprise. Chalk, who doesn’t care how you spell his name, took control when he bingoed with three esses: SINUSES. So, not only did I feel the sting of defeat, but I also was faced with the horrible penance of “the sniffles”.

Jeff put up a couple wins to climb over 1000.

Shauna and Dave vie for Division B supremacy in the Club Championship with Shauna having the edge at the moment. No word yet on who has the upper hand in the battle over the remote.

As you might imagine, here in directorland we’re rather preoccupied with the tournament. Which tournament? THE tournament. So if you haven’t registered, you really ought to. Trust me, Saturday morning cartoons are NOT what they used to be. You’re better off scrabbling.
