Saturday, June 4, 2011. Check-in begins at 8:30am and games begin at 9:30am.
7 rounds Modified Swiss (minimum repeats)
1 round King of the Hill
Division sizes dependent on total number of players. Players must be NASPA members in good standing.
The Gibson Rule is in effect.

The tournament will be held in the STUDENT CENTRE (see map below) at the Blind Duck restaurant.
Players can enter from the east patio entrance of the Student Centre, where they’ll immediately find the tournament check-in desk. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible.
There is a cost of $5 (Canadian cash or major credits cards accepted) for parking for each vehicle, which should be paid at the meter in the lot. See the campus map for details on where to park.

From Highway 401 W, take Highway 403 W and exit on Erin Mills Parkway. Head south to The Collegeway and turn east (left). The parking lot will be to the right.
Lunch will be provided (both veggie and non-veggie options). The cost is included in your entry fee.

Game equipment including a fold-up board, a clock, racks, Protiles, and tile bags have been generously donated by our sponsor Adjudicator3000.com for a special raffle. Tickets can be purchased for $5 each, 3 tickets for $10 or 10 tickets for $20 at the tournament or on Thursday evenings at the Mississauga SCRABBLE® Club. Word prize winners will win additional raffle tickets. Raffle participants do not have to be registered in the tournament to be eligible to win and if are not present during the draw will have prizes shipped to their address.
Prize values are dependent on the number of players in each division. Top finishers in each division will receive cash prizes. Word prize winners will receive tickets for the raffle.
The entry fee is $45. (That’s 45USD or 45CAD). Entries must be received by June 2, 2011, but late registrations will be considered at discretion of the director. In order to register, you must be a NASPA member in good standing.
To register, print the tournament flyer and complete the registration form at the bottom. Payments can also be made in person at the Mississauga SCRABBLE® Club.
