The club meeting for Thursday, January 15, 2026, has been cancelled due to lack of quorum.

Club will be closed on July 3rd and July 10th. It is rare for us to close the club over the summer, but we feel it may be beneficial to give some space around this time as several people will be away and it will allow the organizing team time to plan and prepare for fall.

With a heavy heart, I am letting members know that this weekend Shauna Petrie passed away, as her illness accelerated and overcame her. Shauna was an integral and treasured member of our community. The Mississauga SCRABBLE® Club will be CLOSED on Thursday, December 26th (Boxing Day) and will resume play on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025.

Our 2024 Annual Members’ Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at 6:15PM at Mississauga Valley Community Centre, prior to our regular weekly club meetup. The purpose of the Annual Members’ Meeting is to review the previous year, take a look at what’s ahead, and demonstrate to members that the governance of the club is sound. The club

The session for tonight, Thursday, October 24, 2024, will take place at Huron Park Recreation Centre starting at 7:30PM in the Board Room.

The club will not meet officially in July. We’ll resume play on Thursdays in August at Mississauga Valley Community Centre starting August 1st at 7:30PM.

Instead of our Thursday meetup, throughout June we will be running a Wednesday Scrabble program at Hazel McCallion Central Library.
