The Mississauga SCRABBLE® Club promotes literacy in communities. In this way, the club is a supporter of Literacy North Halton Adult Learning Centres. This organization offers language tutoring for adults in the Georgetown, Milton and Acton area. In their second annual SCRABBLE® tournament officiated by the Mississauga SCRABBLE® Club, players brought in pledges for a total fundraising haul of over $4000!
